The kit I installed fit perfectly into my 2001.

thanks a lot for the help guys. but here is the question. whats the difference between a $300 CAI and a peice of metal tubing(or any tubing for that matter) with a nice filter on the end?

Not much, except you get to just install it, instead of fabricating something up.

Don't forget the IAC and PCV breather connections to the intake tube.

I like the intakes with the plastic tubing. Aluminum sucks in surrounding engine heat in a hurry.
