Explorer overhead console wiring
When I turn on the ignition key, it lights brightly fo just few seconds and then gets dimmed again.
I have recently changed the factory radio with a Sony unit. Since I could not find the adapter wiring, I had to cut the wires. But some wires are left without any connection.
Does the compass/temp unit have any connection with the radio?
I am not sure if the problem was occured just after the radio installation.
i think those lights have a sensor to control illumination(a normal thing.
