4 cyl engine spark plugs
why is there 4 spark wires on both sides of a 4cyl
this is the first time i seen a ford 4 cyl with spark plug wires
on both sides they don"t make nothing easy anymore
its going to be tough to change the plugs

Hey there. Well its definately not a mini V8, although that would be cool. Yeah, its just the same old I4 with two coil packs and 8 spark plugs and wires. Basically as the other individual said, there is no true gain out of it other than a cleaner fuel burn so its more fuel economical. Also, something I know from experience, if for some reason one of the spark plugs isn't firing then there still is the other one firing where in an older system or V6 or bigger you'd lose that cylinder. So thats another thing to be happy about. I'll admit, changing the spark plugs and wires isn't the easiest of tasks but if you're willing to take your time and use a swivel attachment thing, its all worth it. I know when I changed mine after about 50,000 miles, I noticed a big difference cause my original plugs were running like crap. I hope this helps some and wish you luck if and when you decide to change them.
