Don't know about hawks.
I am using Satisfied Ceramic Pro's on my 2008.

No dust!!!!! They work well. The only experience I have w/ Hawks - I have used them on other vehicles and they noisey/squeaked.

Just my $0.03 worth

Thumbs up

I installed PowerSlot rotors and HAWK LTS pads back in April '08...and I have been very happy with the performance. The front have no fade...are quiet...and good quality.

So...a very "Positive" experience thus far.

TIP: Make sure to clean and lube the slide pins...

The difference between the two is the temperature in which they operate best at. One likes to run a little cooler, which will give you better braking if you're not in them alot. This is the type I settled for and they do require some temperature to work nicely, two-three slow stops usually does the trick. The other type is the "high performance" and it requires a lot of heat to work properly. You need to get the pads warm and keep them warm. This type is usually best left to dedicated towing and autocrossing.

I have the Hawk LTS pads on both of my Superduties and love them. They are used with Powerslot cryo rotors.

I also have the Cryo rotors with slots and Hawk pads. Have had them for about 6 months now. No problems.
