I installed the same alternator on my truck last year. It's been a good alternator. It has the choice of a 1 wire hook-up or a 3 wire hook-up. With the 1 wire setup you have to rev the engine before it starts to charge. With the 3 wire setup it starts to charge at idle. javascript:smilie('
