Overloading? Here is proof, god knows how much corkscrew willow stump wood, on our way to do some 'midnight mulching' Note it is not really sagged down that much, tough van , the old 93...
Red Volvo semi is from my work. Larer I gonna post a pics of trailer rebuild shop to show how overloading damage them. Bent axes, blown tires bent frames.... all to get additional profit. Usually they overload old semis (parts are cheapper). It is not legal, but so....:-)))...... well, semis for EU have speed limiters (60MPH) and torque and rev. limiters. Reprogramming allow to rum faster, much faster on German autobahns. It is not legal too, but they do not sent tickets for overspeeding to Ukraine, so we drive dangerously fast on autobahns. We had brake disk overheating and cracking issues, onese tire began to birn becouse of overheating near Berlin. Driver called fire team. But Germans said that it was caliper failure and repared trailer with warranty.
I regularly haul over 1200 lbs (appox 500 kg) in my van, and it doesn't phase it at all. I am also running LT rated tires. I need to get my air rides installed however.
Houling 1200 LBs is not a problem. I used to haul 1700 kg. Had rear tires blown at 65 MPH.... at lower speeds had no problem. Now I have C (commertial) rated tires. They are heavy but may be used for over 1300 LBS load on tire. I have Michelin for mid size commertional trucks tires (225/60R15)
