tranny problem
my 74 f-100 has a fmx tranny that shifts out good but 2 out of 3 times when i come to a stop and start to accelerate it will not go at all it hesitates a few seconds it doesnt slip just acts like its stuck any suggestions of the problem
if it need rebuilding do u guys think it worth building or do i need a c-6 its behind a 351 w ,ive heard they are alot tougher than c-4s but not as good as c-6

Only the 1973/77 F350's with 300 I-6's came with the FMX transmission in the 1970's.
If it's a 240/300 I-6 or a 302...it's a C4. If it's a 360/390/460 = C6.
