Hello,
A friend of mine put 4 Dayton All terrain Commercial tires on his EX. I never heard of "commercial" type tires. Anybody ever heard of these? They look really good and very aggressive tread. Just wondering
We've got 6 of them on a small bus we own. They're good tires, but I wouldn't put them on my Excursion because the ride and road adhesion is much better with my Michelins on the Ex.
An F-250 I bought came with a set of BF Goodrich Commercial T/A's; absolute worst tires I ever had on any vehicle for traction.
Aside from that, I bet that the "Commercial" line is simply a matter of marketing, and that they're probably nothing more than Load-Range E Dayton tires.
