Tourque Converter?
I just slid my 302 in to my truck and I have a question.
Is the crank shaft supposed to turn free when the engine is attached to the transmission?
I thought the Tran's would locked the crank in place when in park, but I can turn the crank.
This maybe a silly question but this was my first swap.
Just want to be sure I didn't break something.
And for anyone else out there, You can not use the non fuel pump timing cover if you want to run V-belt water pump the early 80's are different than the late 80's. Found out the hard way.
