This is getting kinda crazy! In a good way though. I'm getting an intercooler from one of the guys on the diesel forums and then the 4x4 donor truck and I just ordered a set of 3.55 gears to go in the donor front axle too. $70 including shipping!!!!!!!!!!!! Just gears, no carrier. Still pretty cheap. Look quite reasonable too. Now I just need a couple more 10 x 16.5 8-bolt rims......

Man I wish the 16.5's i have would work for ya, but they arent that wide.
I love te fact you have 3.55 gears too, that thing is not only gonna haul ***, but do it while getting over 20 mpg!

I don't know about over 20, but darn close! She'll move along pretty good now. 160k without breaking a sweat. Lots of room left there, but with the bias ply tires in the back, she wanders abit, so that's fast enough for now. I need the other 2 16.5's so I can go to the 37" radials all around! Then we'll be flying!!!!! Unless management tries to pull this vacation blackout thing I'll be there.

Haha nice, Im not sure if I would even try that fast with bias plys myself, one time in an old chevy truck i had bias plys on there and blew one when i was doing 105 mph, an yeah, that put the fear of god into me lol.

I finally got hold of the guy with the truck to hammer out a price. He's taking the deck off. I don't need it. I've already got one sitting around that's not being used.... Anyway, I should be able to pick it up next Wednesday when I'm off. Then the project begins..........
