So i have found one of the worst way to be woken up. I got a message this morning telling me that my truck had been backed into over night..... needless to say i jumped out of bed and rushed down to work to see the damage. From the back of the fender well on the bed to the back of the truck, took out the tail light, pushed in the fender about 1/2 inch or so and took off all of the surrounding paint, i guess 15,000 lb ramp trucks dont mess around. So i took it down to the body shop and it looks like its going to be about $1800 to get it fixed, if i dont do any of the work, which i will so it will be cheaper.
No i know who it was, it was one of the ramp trucks that the company i work for own's. It was my buddy driving so i dont want him to lose his job over it, so we arent telling the boss. But he is paying for all of the work that gets done. So its not going to cost me anything.
Man thats a drag. I do a lot more towing than racing so it would be the perfect opportunity for me to try and talk the wife into the flatbed I've been wanting!!
haha ya this would be the perfect time, but i deffinetly like the fact that i can throw stuff in the back and not have it fly out the side or back. And plus my truck was pristien before this so i want it back to the way it was.
