help!!!
Anyone in the fat fender croud.
i have posted this ? once already. i have a 56 f100 longbed bigwindow. it has a large rear bumper. No site i have been on tells me rather or not this is the stock bumper. i need a direction to go in my research.
please help

I think we are all a fat fendered crowd? 
Do you have pictures you could post links to? I think when these trucks were new you could order custum aftermarket bumpers etc, at least on the bonus builts?

I think they were aftermarket, but a lot of trucks had them.
I do not see them in the brochures on Earl's world.

Most all 56s I have seen or bought have had a bumper like you state. I recently got a 56 with the stock rear bumper and it is kind of rare. Usually like Jeff said--the bumpers were not added from FORD. I like the wrap around big bumper myself.....Bill
