Today I started the truck up and it was running rough. So I went and got the code scanner and came up with a code P0352 - Ignition Coil B Circuit Malfunction. Dont know what this is. That was the only code I was wondering if anyone else had this problem before.
Well this is a guess. Codes P0351 - P0360 are "Ignition coil X primary or secondary circuit malfunction" where "X" is a number 1-10. Maybe the coil on cylinder #2 completely failed? Or maybe even the control cable came unplugged from the coil so it's reporting it as a complete failure in the coil?
that would be my guess as well.........
unplug number 10 and see if you can force a "ignition coil J malfunction"
or number 4 or whatever, just see if makes sense...... A-1, B-2, C-3, etc etc
and yes, check the connector first.
You can even swap the coils around to determine one particular problem
After doing a little work around under the hood I found out the connector on #2 came loose. It wasnt completley off but just enough to not make a connection. Plug it back together and went on my way and it runs great. All thats left is to fix some manifold bolts and she will be like new.
