Before you start blindly changing parts, describe what problem you are having, and if you have not done so pull the codes. Ford Fuel Injection has a simple proceedure for this requiring only a paperclip or short piece of wire. You just put the clip/wire across a couple pins on the EEC test connector and count the flashes on the check engine light.
Its not that I need to replace it part of the question was how do you know when its goin bad so what are the symptoms that way i know what it is where it is and when it happens.
you need to describe what your vehicle is doing to get help.
like: is pedal stiff, unresponsive, idle high, idle low, flat spot when pressing pedal.
all trying to read your mind.
hope this helps.
It will idle high at start up, then lately when im driving it will rev high but not move as fast as how high it revs. When pulling off a stop ill give it gas and it will rev high i dont have a tac so i cant tell you the rpm, but it moves slower than it sounds. Trying to explain best as i can here.

Go to a transmission shop and have them test drive it, sounds like the transmission may be going out.
The TPS does control the oil pressure in the transmission but I would not think it is all of your problems.
The TPS can give a LOT of different symptoms when it's going bad. There's no specific symptom for it.
Do a search, you'll find a fairly recent thread where about ten guys give the symptoms their truck had when the TPS went out, and they pretty much all were different.
