Pulls right, right front side sits lower -- shock?
'95 F250 4x4 PowerSmoke 5-speed 148,000-ish miles
The truck pulls to the right, more than "slightly", but not "extremely". I also noticed the right side suspension sits lower than the left, by about 3/4".
My wife just took delivery of the vehicle, and the PO had one ( why just one? ) of the front shocks replaced recently. I don't remember which side, or how long ago. But I wonder if the different wear on the shocks might account for the difference in ride height. And I wonder if that, in turn, accounts for the truck pulling to the right.
It doesn't look too hard (as long as the bolts/nuts co-operate) to R&I the shocks (simple inverted leaf suspension on the 4x4). I'm thinking, for an hour (hopefully less) of my time, it wouldn't hurt to swap the shocks side-to-side, to see if that affects either the ride height or the pulling. If it does, I'd probably go ahead and replace both shocks, just to have a fresh, MATCHED pair.
