Hello fellow efie enthusiasts, Jamison Mack here. First time caller, long time listener! Found the sight a while back and have really enjoyed reading all the various posts. Thought is was about time to pipe up and say hello. Personal background info is as follows. 30 years old, married with a 5 month old, up and coming lead foot, little boy (takes after his pops). Living in Hailey Id currently, its a little town just south of the ski resort Sun Valley. Ford man all the way, to illustrate i drive a 94 f250 desiel, my wife drives a 08 Focus and my project truck is a 55 f100. I started the build on my 55 f100 about 5 years ago. Got alittle overwelmed, and alittle distracted with life and stopped working on her for about two years. But I am back, hot and heavy this summer. I am going for a nice semi stock looking (from the outside) reliable cruiser with completely updated running stock. So far i have installed a 78 cordoba kit from Gibbons, under cab master cylinder and booster from CPP, installed a EFI 5.0 and AOD tranny from a 89 Crown Vic. Currently finishing the installation of brake lines, and a tilt column from a 80s GMC. Still need to pick out a good used bench seat, the previous owner had removed the original in favor of two bucket seats and with a new third member in the family, i need the extra seat space. I have read the articles here about good seats to use, but i was also looking for some feed back from other ppl on what they chose and how they like them.
Anyway going to end for now, i am sure i will be posting more as time goes on and questions come up! You all seem (for the most part ) like nice folks, look forward to getting to know you all better.

"You all seem (for the most part ) like nice folks" LOL but seriously I have been tolerated on here and nobody really seems to mind my ignorance (maybe they just humor me!) so that being said Welcome to the best place on the web!
I think Ive lost it, I just got in an argument with my wife that tommorow was Wednesday & not Thursday, Well she was right-It's been one of those weeks; thank goodness it's almost the weekend!
I have heard of people using a Ford Ranger seat in the 48-52 trucks but not sure about the width of 53-56 cabs?
I think a few have used seats from a chevy or gmc but that might get you banned from the site for a while!!! Ok, just kidding- sorry couldn't resist
Oh and congratulations on the addition to the family! I have been staring at my 51 f1 for about eight years and am just recently getting into it, my 5 yr old daughter and 3yr old son love to help out on it too, My son say's daddy you need to fix Peppa (pronounced peppay?) my wife just started calling my truck that and it stuck.

Josh, I had to laugh when I saw the last three letters in your trucks nicname.(pepPAY), my wife would probably call mine "wepay"...Rod
Glad to have you here. I go through spots where I don't touch the truck for long spells also. Sometimes life just happens that way. the truck doesn't seem to mind.
welcome aboard, i'm sure you'll have fun here too, just jump in with both feet and let us make fun of some of your questions cause we like to have fun also, just kidding ,Garry
Welcome! My daughter is 10mos old. Her car seat fits in my 50, but there's no room for Mom! Still, I get to take her for rides in my truck and she does love the rumble and the ride! I'm excited for the day she can hold things and fetch wrenches for me!
Welcome to the board, JR. Nice thing about these projects is they don't go away by themselves. I do what I can on mine when money allows, my work schedule allows, or I have enough oomph to want to do something. Which with things the way they are currently, it'll be 5 years before I consider what seat to use, lol. Have a good one.
