Automatic Headlights
ok i have a stupid question...i have a 2002 f350 v10 and on my headlight dial switch if u switch to the left its in the auto position...what the hell does the auto position do..i tried to get info in the manual but i dont know if its just me but i still dont understand it. can someone explain to me what this position does thks

Automatic Headlights
The auto position makes your headlights come on automatically at night, and also shuts them off when you turn the truck off.There should also be some sort of an adjustment for the delay in the lights turning off on the switch as well, at least there was on my wife's van. Our van would vary from about 30 seconds to as much as 3 minutes, depending on where we set it. It is a nice feature, and guarantees that if the system turns the lights on, there is no way of accidentally leaving the lights on overnight after you have parked the truck.
