What to do ?
Ok I have a 99 F350 4x4 auto PSD dually and I'm having trans problems 2 codes incorrect ratio gear 2 and 3
SO do i take it to a shop and let them tear in to it and try to fix it or just buy a new one from the dealer
Shop - Rebuild worst case $3000 with beefed up parts 2 year 24k warranty
Dealer - they install a new one $2700 stock - 3 year 100k warranty
what would you do
Commercial landscape truck pulls 5k daily

Welcome to FTE. 
If it is slipping like that to where it is throwing the codes, just get it rebuilt or you'll be going back in there sooner than you want to.

Every internal part is upgraded, six gear planetaries vs 4 gear. STEEL gear housing vs aluminum. The list goes on.
EDIT: I guess it is a two year warrenty, but the people here on FTE that have them say that is sort of a moot point. They don't break.
