Do your shifter lockout isn't letting go? You could test the switch by jumpering the two wires from the switch together. This will send power to the tail lights and to the shifter lockout actuator. If your still stuck in park, you have another issue.
The switch should be pretty easy to replace once you figure out how to get to it.
