Temp Problems
I am new on the block. I have a 2004 F-350 crew cab with a 6.0 automatic. I have added the oversized exhaust, enclosed cold air intake and a Bullydog PMT programmer. I can't believe the differance in the power, but I am having coolant over heating problems, I think. The programmer has the defuel option on it and they set the defuel setting at 210 degrees. Is this correct. I'm not sure what the operating temp should be. I had Ford flush the system, intall all new hoses, new thermastat, new coolant, new EGR valve and new EGR cooler. Ford replaced the oil cooler about a year ago. When I hook my 34' fifth wheel on it, it reaches 210 degrees pretty quick and defuels.
Any ideas. I need help
