Back-up lights

I have a '90 F250 4X4 and the backup lights do not work. I found a broken plug on a cable by the transmission, but I can't see where it plugs into. Any ideas?

It's a 5 speed manual

Back-up lights

Well then it should be in an area of the tranny where the linkage will actuate the switch.Possibly near the back of the transmission.
