fuel pump issue
I have a 92 f 150 and i couldnt get it started the other day. i noticed the day before that it stalled while driving but it wasnt bad and it only happened a couple times. The rear fuel pump comes on with the key and keeps running, and starts making noise, whining noises. I know thats not right. I also noticed the fuel pump relay was clicking rapidly and not stopping. I was on the back tank. I got it to start later in the day and it would run but not well it would idle about 1000rpm then stall and come back up randomly, and this was while running on the front tank. I,m starting with the fuel filters, and hoping its not the computer. I have more troubleshooting to do and would like some advice.

First thing to do is pull any error codes. Go to fordfuelinjection.com to learn how with a paperclip. I`m sure some of the electrical experts will chime in soon on your relay problem. Good idea to change the fuel filter.
