New to the site, my first restore, and looking for parts and resources.
I am currently looking for a seat for my '67 F100 and heard that benches from '67-'85 will bolt right in. Is this true, or will I need to get mounting brackets?
I put the triple buckets out of a 96 F150 into my 68 F250 4x4. All I had to do was drill 4 new holes in the floor. Even the shoulder seat belts bolted right in. The fold down center seat back console sure is a bonus along with power lumbar, firm cloth seats on rough roads sure is nice too. I do not miss all the bouncing around I did on the stock bench for 25 years. Paul

Be sure you reinforce those bolts!!
The original bolt holes have brazed on sleeves that help to stiffen the structure to the cab and prevent it from ripping out of the floor if you have an accident.
The idiot that had my truck before I bought it put in seat out of an '85....with the '85's bracket....the holes he drilled through the floor were nearly entirely rusted away due to not being reinforced....the old, original style seat fit much better anyway...
