I have a 99f3504x4 single wheel, Iam wanting to convert to a dually. I think I just need to change the hubs.not sure about axle width anybody got any ideas
Also, since used truck sales (price wise) has been heading south in recent past; I suggest you look for a used DRW truck instead, if that is an option. Making too much mods to increase the towing capacity is two edged knife. The decision is yours but if you end up moding your existing truck, start at your local salvage yard. The springs on DRW are rated different compared SRW. Usually DRW are 4:10 gears std, so, you will end up changing gears in the front diff too(it's 4x4!!!). You will need a bed too, used ones(take offs) are like $700-1000 on Ebay.
