so i was taking my accesories of one of the flatheads i got and i found a rebuilders tag. Anyone ever heard of International Machine & Supply located out of Moose Jaw? The tag also states that the block is bored 0.040" over already. I dont know how tight they torqued the headbolts too but i broke 6 out of 24 trying to get the passenger head off. I also need to figure out a way to get a rusted in blockheater stud out too. Then maybe i got a jem, but too early to tell. So with a stock crank its a 245 and witha 4" crank its a 262
Awesome, bummer about the broken bolts though.
I had a 53 with Flattie years ago that was bored maybe .120 over, I`m not real positive about that.........

Ive heard upwards of 0.080" but even with that there would be some serious cooling problems
thats a cool find chris... hopefully you can save it!!
me too man me too. Im thinking that if the block is good i will use this motor for my rebuild and just keep driving mine until the build is finished. Win, win.
