Thump on sharp turns

My 06 F250 4x4 , auto hubs, has a thump, thump, thump on sharp turns. Has anybody had this problem?

See if your hubs are locked, or worn out tie rods/ball joints?

Not the right symtoms, but check your sway bar links while you are down there.

Definitely the hubs are locked, or the needle bearing is dry and locked up to the axle stub.

Hubs are on auto. Could they be sticking?

Yup. Reach around back of the wheel, with the wheels straight and try to turn the u-joint by hand - it should be somewhat hard to get moving, but once moving be smooth and not gritty or ratchety.

There's probably a 50/50 chance it's the hubs sticking, OR the needle bearings are shot.
