Hey guys got done with the cb shop. Sold the tires and got a deal on some work and parts as well. Got the CB tweaked to around 50 watts keyed its pushing 5 or something like that. Its also matched to the amp I bought for it. And combined it should push around 250 watts together. I am using my old K40 magnet mount on top of the truck and the swr is way better so untill I can get the whole other mount setup working its the K40 for me.
George I will be on vacation as of the 7th of august. I will not have to be back to work until the 20th of august. I might go to the antique auto musuem while I am still in PA.
I wish I could but it would br to short of notice for me to get them George. I have a small folding table I can bring with me. I will check and see what other tables I have.
Ryan when I was using a fire police radio, 71-30, I had the antenna installed in the roof of the cab for the best reception and output. When I traded that truck, just put a rubber grommet, siliconed to seal the hole. Couldn't even see it the grommet unless you stood on the running boards.
It's just that I've loaded Dave down with so much now, I hate for him to have look into bringing some. I have one that I am hauling up, with a 10'x20' canopy, a 10'x10' canopy and some chairs.
I just checked with the folks at home and I do not have any thing else I can bring. I will bring my folding table with. It is a 36"x36" table if I am correct. I can measure it for sure and give you a call tommorrow if you want me to.

Ill take the old antennas off and take a picture of the k40 up top. I don't know if I'll go back to the old scanner antenna or what. The outer shield of the wire got damaged removing it. I think Ill be able to tape it up though.
