Thanks for the wake up call. I need to get a hold of Dan and make the cab swap a thing of the past and get my truck painted.

Mike, how is the '36?

Haven't touched it since I started on the kitchen, left it sitting with the top half of the motor mounts made.

Big things happening...big things!

No, I really don't wan't to hear about Mike hanging sheetrock. I can just picture the scene...empty beer cans all over the place, sheetrock with big holes in it where Mike missed with the hammer ("Don't worry Honey, I can fix that...") a nice coating of white dust on everything...oh yeah, I can just see it...

Can you weld gypsum to a fur 2x4? Bet he installs a stainless steel backstop to his counters to hide his mistakes!

and I also bet he forgot to do the wiring before he closed the wall - but no problem, he will knock some holes in the outside wall and snake the wires from there.

I think you ought to have your kids sleep outside for the first couple of days, until you know things are safe in your kitchen.

I thought I could just tack weld to the screws.

But I think things will be okay, as long as no one leans against the walls.
