High Speed Miss
I have a 87 F-250 2wd 7.5l ( opec special ) and am getting a miss at high speeds. Starts at 50mph. Also when the truck ran well the oil pressure read low. Now when the miss started the oil pressure returned to normal. Some history: Truck ran like crap replaced carb. still ran crappy.Then wouldn't start at all. I found yellow wire from starter sol. corroded at splice on drivers side inner fender. Fixed that and truck started fine. I changed plugs and they looked fine. It starts good and runs great in town but out on the highway miss developes. Do I have 2 problems or do they coincide. TIA Wayne

Check your cap, rotor, wires and coil output. You could have a cap thats cracked or carbon tracked, cracked or tracked rotor etc.
Eliminated the obivous in the secondary ignition then check or change the coil (they are fairly cheap)
