Another long day

Swamped with work and I`m hopping to get at least part of the weekend off for this weekend`s Super Run, other wise I`ll be a very unhappy
camper.............
How about everyone else, having a real busy summer too?

You know it hasnt been as crazy here as usual or maybe we are getting used to the pace! Hay is made and bales are hauled in and stacked. The green feed is still growing. We have another 4 or so miles of fence to build but that seems like nothing after the amount we did last year. We have some summerfallow to get to this week and start some fence next week. Manure to clean yet but we just stock pile it. Will maybe get some spreaders going this fall. The tin on the one shop roof isnt quite done yet we just did as far as where it was leaking due to shingles blowing off. Swathers are ready to go and bins are cleaned out. A day of general service work on augers, etc will have all the stuff ready except for the combine. We have not decided how much to spend (if any) on repairs. Might just run it and look for a fresher one out of the states for next season - looks lik tens of thousands of dollars savings on the ones in the $150 range.

Yep, to busy. I think I saw you Moe turning into your farm yesterday, I was going to Cargill for a delivery. Today I might be looking at another truck after work.

When we were waiting for gravel, which was often I hauled lots of fill dirt home to build up some low laying areas in the back of my farm yard.
There was a United Rentals diesel powered walk behind ''Wacker'' being used on the site.
