Is this thread still alive?

Hi all! I'm Blake, live just west of Cheyenne and have a 97 F-250 now. Always owned Fords, but just moved here from TN a few years ago. Wasn't fortunate enough to have been born here, but I came as quick as I could. When I was little my father worked out here a lot and I always wanted to come back. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

My first truck was a 64 F-350, then a 78 F-150, a 94 250 PSD, 02 350 PSD Lariat, 56 350, 01 350 PSD and now my 97 250 5.8. I bought the 250 in non running condition down in Colorado and trailered it home with my 01. I planned just to use it plowing snow around the ranch but ended up really loving the truck. I bought a new CM bed from Ameritech in Casper and just finished removing the engine and going through it. Sold my Super Duty the day after buying the flatbed for my 97. The SD was a long story but I don't think I've ever been so glad to get rid of a vehicle in my life. It's a toss up between that truck and the Jeep my better half used to have.

Anyway, I'm a field mechanic for an equipment company and travel the state. I've put over 100k on my work truck since February 2016, mostly in Wyoming and a little bit of Montana. A friend and I also have a small hay and cattle operation that we're trying to grow, and we do a bit of prospecting as a hobby. Just found this chapter this morning and want d to introduce myself, looking forward to talking to some local folks.

Hello all. Chris in Cheyenne. I'm new to Wyoming. The wife and I moved here from Michigan in September on 2015. We really like it here and trying to get her family to relocate.

In 1985 I bought my first dent. It was a 1977 f250 4x4 highboy. Since then, 73 f250 highboy, 78 f250 plow pkg w/d60, which at the time I didn't know was unusual because I thought all of them came with d60. I had two 78 broncos at the same time and the front ujoints were definitely smaller on the broncos than the f250.

I bought my black 78 bronco in March of 2000 and it finally died in 2014 and went to the jy in spring of 2015. In March of 2004 I bought my currnt blue bronco. I've had 5 "crashed" broncos during this time frame. I found one and the other 4, the owners found me and asked if I wanted them for $50 more than scrap. I peeled parts and sold stuff. Back in Feb 2018 I bought my wife a 79 f150 extended cab longbox 4x4. So she drives a 04 montana and 79 ext/cab and I drive the bronco and ext/cab. Sorry for the long post.
Look forward to meeting people and reading here.
