Kill switches
My 1989 BII won't shut off have replaced the ignition switch, checked the fuses, looked at all the wiring, replaced the ignition switch again and still no luck. Turn the key off and all power stays on. When it is running it just stays running. I am ready to say to heck with the switch as long as it starts and put in a kill switch. However, I do not know what wires to connect to a switch to kill the power. I would appreciate any help on this matter as dead batteries are a pain. Thanks.
But to put a kill switch in the system i would put the switch is series with the ground side of the coil. If oyu don't have spark your engine don't run.
