Dang - save a little energy for later. You don't want to run out too early in the day.

What do you think I am doing right now Steve. just started reading my third newspaper of the day. I might watch a movie and listen to some music later.

Sounds like you are pacing yourself.

How much longer until classes start?

So you still have a few weeks of quiet time remaining. That's good.

Thats a good thing. I will be on vacation for two weeks next month so I am sure it will go by really quickly. Then the second week of september I will be off for three days so I can attend a reenactment.

What type of a reenactment would that be?

It would be a military reenactment of the defense of Baltimore. During the War of 1812.

It takes place at Ft. McHenry. It is always a good one to go to since it is in my backyard so to speak. The National Park Service feeds us the whole weekend and provides a party just for the reenactors with steak, crabs, beer, etc. We also get free music and fireworks on saturday September 13. On friday the 12th we take over several downtown Baltimore streets during rush hour for a parade.

Sounds like a lot of fun - particularly the free food and taking over downtown Baltimore part.

Here is a picture of our group from 2000. This was taken while we were in Canada hoisting the colors over the fort there. I am the one on the right unrolling the flag. In case you were wondering the flag measures 17'x25'.
