newbie, 2001 PSD Question about MPG - MI
Hi!
I am back driving a diesel after 15 years of gas. Drove a '86 for 6 years, it was a company truck. Just bought a '01 PSD and like it alot, but I remeber getting 17-18 mpg with the '86 and the '01 seems stuck on 14. The truck has 3.73 gears and I think the '86 was similar. Is 14 what they get now and what can I do to boost the mpg?

Hi Bill, welcome to FTE.
Depending on your driving style, 14 around town doesn't seem to bad. I have an '06 and get that around town and upwards to 20mpg on the highway.
