That Sound...

OK, I just picked up a 1990 F150 w/ a stock, but healthy 302. It has a single exhaust now and gurgles pretty good. What do I need to get that Mustang 5.0 Growl?
I'd like to run duals out the side just ahead of the rear tire

Just run a dual outlet camaro style flowmaster muffler. That should give it a muslecar sound.

you need a H-Pipe the y-pipe on the truck will not give you that muscle car sound.

then you can run your duals from there.

Running a dual exhaust on your truck is a pain, since there is only one upstream O2 sensor. You can have a new y-pipe built. A dual outlet muffler can project and deepen the sound a lot more than you would think.
