It's a little early to make that decision isn't it? Considering the 6.4 will be a thing of the past by then. Nothing wrong with the Dodge motor, we've just go to see if they can keep the rest of the truck around it long term.

I can see a canvas door retrofit kinda like they used to make for Jeep CJ's in the future...... My dad has a 93 Cummins 12V Dodge.... he feels the same way about it. Its a kick butt motor..Dana 70 rear with a dana 60 front I think, too bad the auto transmission sucks(2 known transmissions on a 190K mile vehicle). Dad might be completely happy if I traded the cummins for the 6.0 in his 2004 F350 though.

AMEN... and I'm trying to convince my parents not to get a 6.4... and go back to the 7.3s

That was mainly based on looks. I would love to stick with ford if they fixed that butt-ugly grille and the bumper.

I am glad to see I am not the only one who thinks the 99-03 trucks are better looking than the new ones.

The '08's wouldnt be so bad if they had the headlights above the turnsignals! I like a lot of the new gagets available on the '08's but I'm working on getting all the good stuff on mine.

Yup, I like my truck too much to even think about a replacement. Would like the rear seats out of a '04 or newer CC because of the headrests and the cool tray thingy, upfitter switches are slick, oh, the '08 tailgate is nice as well as the '08 center console. That's how I'm "getting" a new truck...

Actually good sir, dodge doesnt make a diesel motor, its cummins that puts their motor in their diesel trucks.

Cummins is a hugely giantically different company then dodge!

Just had to clarify it I hate seeing dodge drag the good cumminsname through the dirt!

I would be the same way if dodge had cat, or pretty much anything else under the hood too.

My brother bought an '08 in April.. He gets 11 mpg unloaded, and pulling his trailer gets 5 mpg.. He is pissed! I told him to get the 07 Mega Cab he was looking at.. It still had the 5.9 too!
