front end problems

hey felles this is my first post here. maybe yall can help. i have late production 94 f-250 4x4 7.3 diesel. i just did some front end work . i did front brakes and rotors, center drag link. when i turn the steering wheel in 2 wheel drive everything is ok. when i turn in 4- wheel drive to the right and left it seems to hop. take it and its back to normal. what do ya think

So it has a bit of a hop on turns in 4WD? Does okay going straight? You are probably binding the axle u-joints in the turns while they are under load. While it is not unusual, it can denote problems. Take a look at the u-joints that are behind the stub shafts. Are they pretty much centered in the yokes?

i had a guy down the road change them , not sure what he did. it turns o.k. in 2- wheel drive. it goes good in 4 wheel drive if you are going srtaight.

Very normal for this to happen especially on dry pavement. You should avoid doing this or transfer case damage may occur.

It will do this on pavement or hard surface. Put it in wet grass or mud or loose dirt and see how it feels. It needs to be able to slip when in 4WD or it could break. Don't do it on pavement especially!!!!
