timing problems
I have a 95 F250 351W/E4OD. I have a timing problem. I checked my timing and and I cant find the white mark I put on the damper. I refered back to the manual and it stated that the TFI-IV cant be adjusted as in timing. Is the book right or not? Also, the truck seems sluggish going up hill when I got my trailer with a walk-behind mower and a couple push mower's. I'd really like to advance the timing as it seems sluggish at times and its not really responsive once im on the throttle. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

gotta pull the spout connector first, that will disable the advance, then you should be around 10*ish.
those v8s just dont jump time, unless they jump time - which means the engine needs torn down. the concept of always checking/setting time came from the old points days when the dwell affected the time.
