The thing is, this guy must actually think this is cool?! I mean he has a 3 guage pillar pod, a Mag Hi-Tech diff cover and a Diesel Performance shop sticker on his window. Then this performance tip of all tips.
What diesel performance shop was it? I sure hope no shop installed that thing.
please tell me thats photoshopped.... if not then its true...there is an idiot out there that will buy anything. Forget all you learned about hydrodynamic drag and put an extra sharp bend to add backpressure right at the exit of your none too big exhaust.
Oh No!,.. No, this was not photoshopped! I took these pics just outside my store and thought all you fellas on here would get a kick out of it. I only edited the guys license plate out of courtesy to protect the idiot, I mean innocent?
This thing was the only thing you could see sticking out onto the street from the front looking up the street with the other cars in the way. Man I wish I snapped more pics BTW, it was also just clamped on with the bolts, band and everything visible. Good Lord.
Maybe he is being polite. He doen't want to blow his oil all over other people's cars or trucks so he got a tip to blow the oil on the ground.
Thats prolly true, but the fact that it sticks out so far from the truck make his "good intetions" still look dumb. Ive seen them before on some trucks, mainly drivin by older people, but they are tucked in closer like a normal tip.

It sounds to me as if most of y'all have not seen the massive amount of dust a 4" turbo back exhaust system will kick up. I learned this at the University I attended when I did the exact same thing on my bus, not sticking out like that, but pointed straight down. First intersection I came to, I looked in the side view mirror and pedestrians were fanning the dust out of their faces. I could see this in my side view mirror almost 40' in front of the exhaust. First parking lot I could find I pulled in and fixed it.
