Which Year
I am looking to buy a used Ranger and I was wondering what to look for, such as year, engine, trans etc. Mileage is more important than speed. What I want is a 4x4 with a manual trans, prefer manual 4x4 shift. It will be used for hunting, fishing, exploring.

97 was also the last year you could get a manual shift t-case for the 4x4 except for the 02 and 03 FX4 level II package. If you got an FX4 level II with a manual trans, it also came with a manual t-case, but only in 02 and 03.
