Revving while a/c or heat on?

Revving while a/c or heat on?
What gives? My truck wastes enough gas as it is, on the very very rare occasion that I run the a/c, usually when it rains during the day, it revs while it's on! Ahh!!!

are you sure it isn't just the PCM idle adjust for when the a/c compressor clutch is engaged?
I know that every single F-150 in my sig did that crap. idle would drop 100-200 rpm and then pick back up about 50-100 rpm above where it initially was. only did it when the A/C or the defrost was on
