I looked on the Spartan site, from what I saw the Phalanx is for the 6.4 PSD. I didn't see anything about it being available yet for the 6.0 PSD.
There is one in the works. The only think lacking from it is a cable. Apparently the 6.4 crowd lucked out and didn't need the cable for the monitor to act like a tuner as well, but we are less fortunate.

so is matt or evan or whoever going to have to write completely different tunes for the Phalanx being that it operates on a different platform and all and probably has more capability than the X3?

You know that is a good question, I don't know the answer to that. Maybe so. I was planning on trying to call Matt this week and ask him another tuning related question, if I remember I'll try to ask that one as well.

right on! i am thinking of taking a little trip up there this weekend just to stop by and see his shop and what not. if you don't remember to ask him then i will. maybe he will be able to give us a better guestimate as to when the cable will be available. that is if he has been in contact with the boys at dashdaq lately.

A week from today I'll be in Knoxville, might try to endure the extra hour and drive over there as well. Give him a coronary by just showing up.
yeah that would probably surprise the hell out of him since you guys seem like pretty good friends. if i were to just show up he would be like "who's this moron"?

This make no sense. The dash daq tuner from spartan plugs into the OBDII port on the 6.4's with a cable from the Dash Daq to the OBDII port. You can get a plain dash daq from drew tech now for the 6.0's its just not a tuner. Since the tuning for a 6.0 go's thru the OBDII port why would you need a diffrent cable
I thought they were waiting to release it with their FICM tuning so you could tune the FICM and the PCM with the Dash Daq.

That's just what Matt told me, I don't know the dynamics of it.
I wish Matt would get it done, i want one to tune my fleet trucks with the ecomony tunes. One Das Daq tuner will program multiple trucks with additional licenses.
