much like the millennium falcon i want my econline to have secret compartments in the floor or the dashboard. can anyone tell me who tol contact in the northeast to have such a thing installed? thanks
Some people get these installed so that they can safely put sums of money in the van, undetectable by thieves. If that is what you have in mind, then you do not need a very big compartment. One thing some people do is put a phony 120VAC outlet in their vans-- the floor, whatever-- with a conduit box behind it which will provide ample stowage space for money, passports, etc.
But I have heard that having such a compartment in a vehicle can be grounds for its seizure, without return, by the govt. Drug runners do use 'em, and the government can get strict.
Have you considered having a small fire safe installed? Not secret, but quite secure, and good and legal for storage of money and firearms.
