whenever i turn my key to on to warm the glow plugs, I hear a loud buzz noise that sounds like it's coming from the dash. I have no clue what it is but it's annoying for sure. here is a vid of the sound...right about the 4 second mark. any ideas would be appreciated!
Sounds to me like a relay energizing. If the buzz continues it is likely that your batteries are getting weak or have a bad connection. Yours seem to go away quickly so I don't see too big a problem. It starts right up right? At least that is my guess from what I saw/heard. Hard to diagnose some things from a computer.
my batteries are less than 6 mo old so I'm not sure if that's it. i'll check my connections again. it starts up just fine. i guess i'll really be able to tell when (if) it starts to get cold again.
I have the same buzz.. always thought this was the air vacuum pump for the hubs..when it is up to pressure, it shuts off.. I'll do a test later and get back to post my results..
I've had the same problem for years but mine is even worse. It turns the radio on, or switches over to cd even when there is no cd in the disc drive. Mine seems to happen only in cold weather though.
