Finally I found the perfect name for my 1957 Ford pickup. "Christine"
If you're wondering where I got this from is the 1983 movie Christine. It was on tonight and my friends remarked that the main character reminded them of me....and so on
In the movie Christine it is about a a posecesed 1958 Plymouth Fury (nicknamed Christine) and the main character (high school aged male fixes it up then becomes controlled by it) Then several characters are killed by the car and in the end the main character also gets killled by it in a accident.
It also reminds me of the 57, because nobody except me likes it, and I have spent too much effort on it.
I know naming your vehichle seems childish, but oh well gives it character (kinda like rust)
You need to get a CD of " Bad to the Bone" and play it till your windows vibrate, every time you pull up to your buddies. That will really 'cement' the Christine identity.
Get the George Thorogood and the Destroyers rendition, which was the one used in the movie. In fact the Christine CD would be a good CD just to play and listen to, lot's of good '50's Rock and Roll, played the way R + R should be played.
