I blew up the nine inch rear end in my pickup The spider gears are in about fifty pieces. I was wondering if any of you have installed one of those lock right locker and how hard it was or the durability is on them. I am pretty hard on things and have heard that those don't hold up to much more than toyota's jeeps and things of that nature. Thanks
I think the strongest non locking type would be an Auburn diff. Still good for streets, but they do lock up nice-altho $$
Never heard much about the loc rights, probably ok for average wheeling in light vehicles, or perhaps front ends. They are nice because you don't need to mess with the ring and pinion.
Perhaps a selectable locker-air or electric?
I was only considering the lockright because it replaces the spider gears which i need to do anyway so it wouldn't be much more than just fixing it and I would get a locking rearend out of the deal.
I heard they are about or just start making OX lockers for 9 inch rears. I'veooked at all kinds of selectable lockers and this one has to be the most reliable one I've seen.
