this morning I was going to work pulled out of my driveway and started going down the road. I was fixing to shift into 2nd when the truck started acting like it was about to stall (kinda like the engine was cold). I thought please don't leave me here. I shifted into 2nd kept driving and it finally cleared up......I guess it was a bad shot of gas or something. I'll buy another can of B-12 tomorrow.
at lunch I filled it all the way up since I got in May of '07......sure looks good to see that guage all the way up.
I don't mean to be a bummer, but I'd keep the cell phone chged.Typically when they have a hiccup in warm weather somethings up .I don't think i've ever seen my tank gauge pinned full,BUT it'd be nice to see for sure
actually I thought of this. yesterday it was raining when I was driving. I hit a puddle pretty fast. the water was coming up from between the cab and bed. my dad said, "Watch out you could flood that truck out." so maybe some of the water hit one of the spark plugs while I was driving today and it wanted to stall.

Yep that coula done it.Some guys cut up a inner tube and cover then zip tie it around the cap.Good for keepn the water out
yeah I was lucky. woulda had to walk back home, get dad's truck, and then start going back to work. after getting home woulda had to figure out a way to get the truck home.
Fuel pump might be getting ready to go, or you have some debris in the needle that dislodged itself. I agree with 78's post...it's a sign that something is getting ready to go, sorry to say. Most likely one of the two things I mentioned. Time to get handy with the fuel system.
This may sound strange but years of fourwheeling have taught me to keep the distributor cap absolutely clean on the outside. If it gets wet, when its dirty, it will fire between posts and misfire or quit. Take some dishwashing detergent, and a tooth brush and clean all the oil and dirt of the outside of the cap and wires. You want it to look like new!
i get hiccups all the time. i would just pull the plugs. make sure they are clean. wipe out the inside of the dist. ( clean the outside while your at it.) throw some fuel system cleaner in it and be on alert the next few times i drove it. i was told by an old mechanic along time ago "if it feels bad, it is. if it feels good, dont worry."
