Extended Service Contract
Hi all--
Good news: I got a great deal on a 2006 Superduty FX4 CC 5.4L with 46k miles!
Bad news: The truck appears to have been (ab)used by a crackhead in the scrap metal biz!
So, I'm thinking about purchasing an extended warranty... Anyone care to opine?

I have an extended warranty on mine. I would only buy a Ford ESP plan, no 3rd party warranties for me. The bad news is, I don't think you can buy one for your truck because it is past the 36k mile bumper to bumper. Or maybe you can, but have to pay a premium price. You'll need to check with a Ford dealer to be sure, but brace yourself for bad news.
If they say no, put whatever money it would have cost in a certificate of deposit and earn interest for the inevitable.
