Well my lease on my '06 MegaCab Cummins is coming to an end (actually miles are pushing that end closer) so I decided to go back to F250.
I got a 2005 F250 (CC Long bed V10 4x4 Auto) from a county auction (county owned). It runs rather well but I can only imagine how it got so dirty. I don't mind the work, in fact I look forward to tinkering on a car again.
I will be replacing most of the interior and am having trouble locating one little part, so hear is my first post and question.
Short of going to 10 wreck yards to look for the part, does anyone know where I can find:
The outboard transmission selector cover ring, it would basically be the cover for the tow/haul button on the end of the shifter.
Welcome to FTE, and congratulations on returning from the nether regions.
We have sponsors here on FTE that specialize in OEM parts and can even get the part numbers for you. Take a look at the sponsor list at the top of the forum page.
Welcome to FTE. You can contact Ed ( Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Profile: FTE/PARTS-GUY ) He's a Ford dealer sponsor here that sells parts at a big discount from your local Ford house. He can help with looking up any part numbers and selling them to you at a good price. You won't be able to send any PM's until you reach a post count of 26, so do you have any other things you'd like to say to build your post count up?
