When I pulled my ats turbo from a junkyard truck I forgot to grab the valve cover for my ats setup. I was looking at the banks cdr setup and they have an adapter that goes beteen the block and the oil filler neck. Is there anything special about this adapter? I was just thinking that if I put a 90 degree elbow on the oil filler neck(in place of the cap) with a nipple that had a hose running to the cdr on the side of the airbox, that this would have the same effect as the banks setup.
What do guys think?
I was also wondering if the exhaust pipes made to run the turbo on a 4 speed would fit around the 5 speed?
I plan on installing the turbo on Friday, hopefully all will go well.
